In 2009, I discovered the wonders a MAC makes in film editing and graphics. I don't think I shall ever go back.
Car Ride of the Year: Semi-Spontaneous Sister Roadtrip
It was a few days traveling the West Coast. Nothing too big, but definitely new sights a-plenty. Major sister-bonding-time galore with little to no drama (which is a pretty novel idea in our relationship, I kid you not). The idea of the trip was to create one last big memory with my sister before I left for two years and despite some bumps on the road (including driving through snowy/icy patches of highway without chains!!), it was a great few days away.
New Person of the Year: Ms. Malloney
All I can say is: lifesaver in both Academics and Life.
Project of the Year: Return to the Blogosphere
I was apprehensive at first. Are you really going to go through with this lingered in my mind for a while. But I do not regret a word.
Startup of the Year: Etsy
Sure, I don't particularly make anything to sell, but I sure as heck lust after most of the cute items on that website.
Web Tool of the Year: Twitter.

Learning Experience of the Year: Grad School is not the only option after graduation
It was a little hard for me to accept that I was too broke for school, but in reality... it was the best decision of my life. And after all, after I come back in two years, I can always apply again.
Gift of the Year: New Amazing and Talented Friends
