My Kind of Holiday Film: 'Treevenge'

Are you sick and tired of the same ol' happy/sappy endings in Holiday movies? Don't you ever just want to see something new happen?

Well thanks to Jason Eisener, we have Treevenge. A film that is not only reminiscent of the gritty, almost kitschy horror films of the past, but completely amusing and entertaining. Having won a slew of awards including Best short/audience award at the Fantasia Film Festival (after having made a splash in Grindhouse with his faux trailer Hobo with a Shotgun), it's no wonder this film has become such a big hit.

I do warn you that there is a lot of blood and guts, but it is worth watching. I mean, when else are you going to see Trees revolting against a holiday tradition!
